Dear Editor: I just wanted to respond to the article on nursing shortages ["Nursing group addresses shortages in Northeast Florida," issue of Jan. 12-18]. It does not surprise me that there is a nursing shortage. I am a student at St. Johns River Community College and have applied to the nursing program four different times and have been rejected.
